Scope: Stainless Steel Handrails to Stairs and Ramp

Metal Mart was engaged to supply and install handrails for the stairs and accessibility ramp at the Gull service station on Massey Road in Māngere East. The project called for a simple, durable, and code-compliant solution that would support safety and usability for customers accessing the forecourt and retail area.

We fabricated stainless steel handrails tailored to suit both straight and sloped conditions. Each handrail was formed using high-grade tubing, mounted on welded upright posts, and finished to provide corrosion resistance suitable for outdoor use. The design met accessibility and building code requirements while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

Installation was completed with careful coordination to ensure compliance with entry thresholds and kerb lines, resulting in a safe and durable access system that supports high-frequency public use.
