Scope: Drain Pipe Protector

Metal Mart was engaged to support the fitout of 3M’s headquarters on Apollo Drive, delivering a practical and well-executed metal solution to protect essential infrastructure within the workspace. The project was part of a broader commercial interior upgrade managed by Unispace, where functionality and finish needed to align with global brand standards.

Our scope involved the fabrication and installation of a drain pipe protector, designed to guard exposed vertical services in a visible area of the office. The structure was assembled using 42.4 millimetre diameter pre-galvanised pipe, connected with key clamp fittings to provide strength, ease of assembly, and a clean industrial aesthetic.

Standing 2.4 metres high and fixed securely from floor to ceiling, the pipe protector was engineered for impact resistance while remaining unobtrusive within the space. Installation was completed efficiently and left trade clean, ready for final handover.
