Balmoral Primary School

Location: Balmoral Primary School, Auckland
Client:
Scope: Aluminium Shrouds, Vertical Fins, Balustrades
Metal Mart was engaged to supply and install a range of architectural metalwork elements for the redevelopment of Balmoral School. The project required clean, durable solutions to support the function and design of new learning environments, while ensuring long-term performance in a busy educational setting.
Our scope included the fabrication and installation of aluminium shrouds around selected window and façade openings. These were custom-formed to architectural specifications and powder coated for visual consistency across the building envelope. Each unit was installed with precision to deliver sharp lines and weather protection at all junctions.
We also supplied and installed a series of vertical fins across external walls. Fabricated from aluminium hollow sections and fixed to structural supports, the fins provided sun shading and visual rhythm to the façade while maintaining airflow and sightlines.
To complete the package, Metal Mart delivered balustrade systems for stair and circulation areas throughout the school. These were designed to meet all safety compliance requirements while contributing to a modern, clean-lined aesthetic suited to the education environment.
This project reflects Metal Mart’s strength in delivering well-executed architectural metalwork for school builds. With a focus on clean finishes, accuracy, and site coordination, our team supported the successful delivery of a high-quality learning facility.
