Metal Mart was proud to partner on the development of the M2 Apartment Wing at the Huapai Country Club, delivering a tailored package of custom-fabricated steel components to support the construction of this premium lifestyle facility.

Our scope included a wide range of high-performance elements designed for both structural reliability and architectural finish. Key components included precision-engineered stainless steel flashings installed along balcony soffits and wall junctions. These were fabricated in both 1.2 millimetre and 2.0 millimetre stainless steel to meet varying detail requirements and powder coated in standard Dulux colours to provide long-term weather protection and a clean finish.

We also supplied and installed custom 1.2 millimetre stainless steel box gutters to manage upper-level drainage. These were glued directly to timber framing, which was constructed by others to a fall of 1 in 50. Each gutter included welded spigots for efficient downpipe connection and smooth water flow.

To ensure full weatherproofing continuity, we fabricated aluminium flashings connecting joinery to balcony gutters. Custom aluminium saddle flashings were also installed across UB, UC, and PFC members, providing weather coverage at structural junctions including interstorey zones.

Internal stair handrails were fabricated and installed to meet safety regulations and contribute to the facility’s high standard of finish. We also supplied slab edge flashings in stainless steel and aluminium angles to various areas including stair seismic gaps, where mitred joints were formed on site for a sharp and consistent result.

This project reflects our capability to deliver coordinated, high-spec steelwork across a complex and detail-driven build. From fabrication through to final install, every element was handled with precision and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for both client and builder.
