Metal Mart was engaged to supply and install a set of custom metal components for the lift area upgrades at Northbridge Retirement Village. The works formed part of a staged improvement program to enhance safety, performance, and longevity across the vertical transport zones in the facility.

Our scope included the fabrication and installation of stainless steel lift surrounds, providing a durable and low-maintenance finish that also delivered a clean, modern look to the upgraded lobbies. Each surround was custom-formed to suit the existing shaft openings and finished to withstand high-traffic use.

We also fabricated and supplied a sump pump plate for the lift pit, designed for strength, corrosion resistance, and safe service access. This component plays a key role in protecting drainage systems while maintaining clear access for maintenance teams.

To complete the package, Metal Mart delivered a custom lift threshold cover to bridge the transition between finished floor surfaces and the lift car. This detail ensured a smooth interface and reduced trip hazards, contributing to user safety and comfort.
