Scope: Colorsteel Flashings

Metal Mart was engaged to supply a package of custom Colorsteel flashings for the NZ Blood facility in Highbrook. Working with SMC Construction, our role focused on delivering accurately fabricated metal components that would integrate cleanly into the building envelope while meeting both performance and aesthetic standards.

All flashings were fabricated from 0.55 millimetre Colorsteel in the colour Ebony, supplied in 3.6 metre lengths to optimise transport and on-site handling. Each profile was manufactured to precise measurements to ensure a consistent finish and minimise installation adjustments.

The flashings included a wide range of edge trims, cover flashings, and junction profiles tailored to different interfaces across the structure. With over a dozen individual profiles supplied and quantities ranging from small bespoke items to bulk runs, our fabrication team ensured every length met the specification and quality expectations of the site.
