Metal Mart partnered with Façade Solutions on the residential development at 3 Sunnybrae Road in Hillcrest, a project that has since become Poenamo Place, a brand new street lined with apartments on both sides. Our team delivered the handrail, balustrade, and panel packages across Blocks A, B, C, and D in stages as the development took shape.

At the entrances, we fabricated and installed stainless steel handrails to the entry stairs of every unit across the blocks, each set free standing on its own posts and polished to a 320 grit satin finish. Fabricated in grade 316 stainless for lasting performance outdoors, the entry rails were manufactured as complete assemblies and installed block by block to suit the construction programme.

Inside, our team delivered custom fabricated mild steel balustrades finished in matt black, along with stainless steel handrails running the internal stairs from basement carpark levels through the upper floors. The package was rounded out with aluminium panels and the stair metalwork connecting residents to the carpark.

Delivering an entire street of apartments across four blocks and multiple stages takes consistency. Every handrail set had to match the last, every finish had to hold the same standard, and every stage had to land on programme, from the first block through to the last. Today Poenamo Place is home to hundreds of residents, with our metalwork guiding them up every stair and entrance, exactly the kind of long term result we build for.
