Metal Mart was proud to support the construction of the Resido Sylvia Park Build to Rent apartment complex, situated next to one of Auckland’s most well-known retail hubs. This large-scale residential development was designed for long-term urban living and required high-performance, visually cohesive metalwork to match.

Our team supplied and installed a robust range of custom-fabricated aluminium and galvanised steel components, tailored to meet both structural movement requirements and architectural design intent.

Key elements included powder-coated aluminium seismic covers for various brick façade locations, including high-traffic entry points such as the Office and EOT Entry doors. Each cover was engineered to suit seismic gaps ranging from 60 to 110 millimetres, ensuring compliance and long-term protection while maintaining a clean, consistent finish.

We also supplied aluminium soaker flashings for pilaster precast joints, contributing to reliable weatherproofing across key junctions. All components were finished in standard Dulux colours to match the overall façade palette.

To complete the drainage framework, Metal Mart provided pre-galvanised steel gutter support angles, supplied in precision-drilled lengths for straightforward installation and enduring performance.
