Metal Mart partnered with Southbase Construction and Asset Construction on the redevelopment of Silverdale School, fabricating and installing the balustrade, handrail, and ancillary steelwork package to suit a busy, daily use school environment.

Our team supplied and installed steel balustrades and matching handrails across the stairs and access ways, made to suit each run and finished for durability in a high traffic setting. Every component was fabricated to fit its exact location, keeping installation clean and the finished result consistent throughout.

The package also included a custom fire sprinkler cage, protecting critical safety equipment from knocks and tampering, along with bag storage hooks for the students. Small items like these are easy to overlook, but getting them right, robust, well finished, and neatly installed, is part of delivering a school that works from day one.
