Scope: Stainless Steel Handrails with Tube Bending

Metal Mart was engaged to deliver custom stainless steel handrails for the Stage 1 build of Studio West, a purpose-built film and television facility in West Auckland. Working with Canam Commercial, we provided a clean and durable solution that aligned with the functional and aesthetic demands of a high-traffic production space.

Our team supplied and installed stainless steel handrails to two stairwells within Studio 4. The handrails were fabricated using 38.1 millimetre diameter stainless steel tube, 1.5 millimetres thick, and polished to a 320 grit satin finish. Each section was precision-bent in-house to suit the stair layouts, eliminating the need for welded corners and delivering a smooth, professional result.

Installation included proprietary stainless steel brackets fixed to pre-prepared framing, ensuring secure wall attachment and consistent bracket spacing. All components were delivered trade clean, ready for immediate use on site.
