Metal Mart was engaged to support the construction of the Whenuapai Gymnasium, a specialist facility developed for the New Zealand Defence Force. Working with WSP, we delivered a tailored internal metalwork package focused on strength, function, and precision fit.

Our scope included the fabrication and installation of the main internal stair structure. Built to withstand high daily use, the stairs were custom fabricated and installed to suit exact architectural requirements and site conditions.

We also supplied and installed metal cladding to the lift jamb area, creating a clean transition between structure and lift entry. This detail contributed to the tidy and durable finish expected across a high-utility facility.

To complete the access package, Metal Mart delivered and installed handrails along internal circulation zones. These were fabricated in-house and installed with care to meet compliance requirements and ensure reliable everyday use.
